India for Five Tricky Passports: Maldives Goes Visa-Free, Mauritius & Seychelles Free e-Visas, Hong Kong Still Needs a Regular Visa
Five passports sit in the awkward gaps of India's e-Visa system — and they land in three completely different places. Maldivian citizens need no visa at all; Mauritius and Seychelles get a free e-Tourist visa; Taiwan gets the standard e-Visa; and Hong Kong SAR holders are not on the e-Visa list and must apply for a regular visa. We verified all five against official sources and fixed our own data, which had defaulted every one of them to "visa required".

India's e-Tourist, e-Business, e-Medical and e-Conference visas all share a single eligibility list of roughly 174 nationalities — if your passport qualifies for one, it qualifies for all four. We fixed 68 per-passport errors in our own business/medical/conference data, including six passports wrongly promised an e-Visa. And despite regular Indian visas resuming for Chinese citizens in July 2025, the e-Visa route remains suspended for China.

Paraguay waves in the whole EU bloc, the Americas and most of Asia-Pacific for up to 90 days — and just added the Philippines and Malaysia to the 30-day visa-free tier in late 2025. We also found (and fixed) a false "visa on arrival" claim for Ghana that had no basis in any Paraguayan agreement.
