Visa-free world map
Pick a passport and watch the world recolour: every destination it enters visa-free, on visa on arrival, with an e-Visa, or where a full visa is required — mapped from our verified, sourced visa database, with prohibited-travel pairs shown honestly. Hover a country for the detail; click through for the full rules.
How to read the map
- Green — visa-free. No visa needed before you travel (entry conditions still apply).
- Light green — visa on arrival. A visa is issued at the border, no advance application.
- Blue — e-Visa. Apply online before departure and travel on the approval.
- Amber — visa required. A visa must be obtained from a mission or portal in advance.
- Red — travel not permitted. A relationship constraint — severed relations, an entry ban, a passport not valid for that destination — overrides ordinary visa rules.
- Grey — not tracked. Not yet a destination in our database, so we don’t colour it rather than guess.
Each destination shows the best visa regime available to that passport across our visitor programs, matching the destination lists on each passport guide. Micro-states too small to draw (Singapore, Malta, Bahrain and others) appear as coloured dots.
