Armenia and Azerbaijan have had no diplomatic relations and a closed land border since the early 1990s. There are no direct flights, no land crossings and no consular services between the two countries, so ordinary tourist, work or study travel for an Azerbaijani passport holder to Armenia is not possible in practice — any apparent visa-free or e-visa entitlement does not reflect a usable route. A peace-treaty framework was initialled in 2025, so this could change; re-verify before making plans.
Because of this restriction, there is no Armenia Visa-Free Stay (up to 180 days) application process available for Azerbaijani passport holders.
