Proof of monthly income of at least 3× the Colombian minimum wage — COP 5,252,715/month for 2026 (~USD 1,400); each of 3 months' bank statements must individually clear it
Motivation letter describing the remote activity
Health insurance covering Colombia for the visa period, including repatriation cover
Visa V Digital Nomad application via the Cancillería portal (visascolombia.gov.co)
Valid passport (valid 6+ months) and a digital photograph
Proof of remote work or business for a company or clients outside Colombia
Note: the V nomad visa runs up to 2 years and cannot be renewed — switch to an M-category visa afterward
