🚫Travel to Maldives is not currently permitted for Israel citizens

The Maldives prohibits entry to holders of Israeli passports under an April 2025 amendment to its Immigration Act, so travel to the Maldives on an Israeli passport is not permitted.

On 16 April 2025 the President of the Maldives ratified the Third Amendment to the Maldives Immigration Act (Law No. 01/2007), which expressly prohibits the entry of holders of Israeli passports into the Republic of Maldives. The measure was passed by the People’s Majlis on 15 April 2025 as a response to the war in Gaza. Holders of Israeli passports are refused entry; dual nationals may still travel using a non-Israeli passport. This is a passport-based entry ban, not a visa difficulty — there is no visa that makes Israeli-passport entry possible. Re-verify before any travel, as the measure is politically driven and may change.

Because of this restriction, there is no Maldives Tourist Visa on Arrival — 30 days, free for all nationalities (extendable to 90 days) application process available for Israel passport holders. Entry rules and diplomatic relations can change — always confirm the current position with the official authorities of both countries before making any plans.
