🌐Why Slovak passport holders need a visa for Thailand

Slovak passport holders must apply through the Thailand embassy, consulate, or a designated visa application centre before travelling. Requirements are subject to change, so always verify at the official government portal.
⚠️Common Reasons Thailand Non-Immigrant B (Business) Applications Are Refused6
- !The inviting Thai company is not properly registered/licensed, or its commercial documents (company registration, financial statements, shareholder list, VAT registration) are incomplete or cannot be verified.
- !The inviting company does not meet the requirements to employ a foreigner — registered capital below THB 2 million per foreign hire, or fewer than four Thai employees for each foreign employee (the 4:1 ratio).
- !Stated business purpose inconsistent with the applicant's profile or the company's actual line of business, or the intended role falls on the list of occupations reserved for Thai nationals.
- !Passport valid for less than six months, insufficient blank pages, or a photo not meeting specifications.
- !Incomplete documentation (missing invitation/employment letter or proof of the business relationship) or inconsistencies in names, spellings or dates across documents.
- !Prior overstay, a previous visa cancellation or deportation, or inadmissibility on security grounds. (The Non-B visa does not itself authorise work — a separate work permit must be obtained after entry.)
Refusal grounds are at the discretion of the deciding officer and can change. This list is informational — always verify current requirements at the official government portal.
